Lauren Scott

Lauren Scott serves as Counsel for the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) on the Research team in the Legal Affairs unit of the Office of the General Counsel. In this role, she advises on a range of matters including personal conflicts of interest (COI), organizational conflicts of interest (OCI) proposal reviews, policy implementation, and transactional agreements such as MOUs and NDAs.

Lauren began her legal career at a business litigation firm before joining the GTRI Ethics and Compliance Office in 2019, where she supported compliance reviews and research operations. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgia Tech and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Lauren lives in Midtown Atlanta and enjoys running and attending Atlanta sporting events.
