
Yolonda Cameron serves as Director of Legal Operations & Chief of Staff in Georgia Tech’s Office of the General Counsel, leading the Operations unit. In this role, she partners with the General Counsel and leadership team to advance strategic priorities, strengthen operations, and foster an engaged, high-performing legal team. She has guided restructuring efforts, driven process and technology improvements, and advanced programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and team development.
Before her current role, Yolonda served as an attorney in Legal Affairs at Georgia Tech, advising on a broad range of legal and compliance matters. She brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education legal affairs, with expertise in legal operations, compliance, strategic planning, and organizational transformation. She is committed to building connections, improving processes, and promoting a positive workplace culture that fosters collaboration and success within OGC team and across the Institute.
Yolonda holds a J.D. from George Washington University, a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Jackson State University. Outside the office, she is a registered yoga teacher who enjoys sharing practices that support well-being, along with traveling, gardening, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
